Crown Range Road - Cardrona Valley Route
The Cardrona Valley Route was the first route linking Queenstown and Wanaka. In 1860 the first Europeans came along in search of pasture for their sheep.
2000 the road was sealed and with 1076m above sealevel it's the highest sealed road in New Zealand.
