Jetboat
Bill Hamilton, a South Island farmer invented this kind of powering a boat. It's ideal to navigate over shallow water because there's no propeller. The power comes from sucking water from under the boat and forcing it through a nozzle at the stern. The boat is propellered by water and you can navigate it at full power over water wich is as little as 10cm deep.
